Stew & Heidi Rodewald

The creative team behind the Tony Award Passing Strange, stopped by to help us produce the first High School production.

Passing Strange Production Archive

So we might be a little obsessed with these folks...

Picture
While approaching tech week for Passing Strange the creative team stopped by - perhaps to see if a high school could "pull it off" -
but more importantly to offer sage wisdom and insight into the complex and incredible journey of the show.

They liked it. We love them.

They hung out with us.

A master class about life in the arts followed.

"Um. Wow."

But we also bumped into Coleman Domingo on the street near school....

Picture
... he was so cool and talked to students for a long time. Instant master class indeed!

And might have spotted Daniel Breaker on the subway...

Picture
... Elena was thrilled to met another source of Passing Strange inspiration, on her way to a tech day no less!

BUT seriously,
we're not stalkers.
This is New York City!

BUT... then Stew invited us to sing with him at Lincoln Center Out of Doors.

The pictures from back stage aren't great; but check out the professional shots below -

Thank You Stew!!
Working with you is such an honor.
We will 'sang' witchu, any day, any time!

Big Love,
B'DAT
